Posted to I just released hellotimo.co, a time and task manager, Aug 15, 2018 I would suggest that "Light Mode" shouldn't be #FFFFFF bright white, but rather a more pleasant soft blue or heather grey. Kind of like here on designernews.co, the background color isn't pure white, it's #ECEEF1. It's way less stressful on the eyes.

It makes you wonder if we just got lucky with things like USBs or JPGs or PDFs being standards..or if there was some secret sauce in the 90s that we're all missing.
