It's not UX-specific, but it's a must-read for all designers: The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman.
http://dev.to is another great site for developers. would've been great if DN was like that for designers.
I think Reddit and Twitter has really taken on the role of forum-style communication. Almost all of the larger forums I used to visit in the pre-2010s are either gone or completely dead.
Maybe this is a bad example, but when Slack dropped their new logo/icon, it was really tiring seeing people force positivity towards it (mostly on twitter).

Do you have any good tutorials on doing this with grid? I tried awhile ago to understand it but just couldn't get it.
My 2015 MBP was from the refurbished site. It had the display coating issue but I got that repaired and haven't had any issues since.
They could've done without the "S" and kept their same authenticity, though.
Well, the same argument can be made against Instagram's logo. Everyone hated it at first because it was news. I still hate it, and I know a lot of people that still hate it. Just because we don't talk about it actively doesn't mean it's still not a bad choice.
