Damn this is so genius! Can't wait to test it out in the wild.

A music preview would be nice (maybe long pressing the title or with a button to play/pause, or just play a couple secs and fade out as you change them) and both icons left and right moving forward on the music picker is confusing, was expecting the icon on the left would chose the previous song.

Also, when swiping left/right, the circle to indicate the zoom is not really useful, why you guys are not showing a preview of how the zoom level will be?

since you're bringing it up and for those of you wondering, why online voting would be a terrible idea: http://www.futurity.org/internet-online-voting-1176522-2/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3_0x6oaDmI

...or how I ranted about a pretty valuable, widely understood design pattern because "search tools" and "more" are too close.

    from a pure VisD POV:

Usability would improve a lot if you used this structure: http://avc.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/google-now-stories.png

-Tiny header with source & time -Title -Some of the content -Thumbnail

Avoid center aligning the text, super tiring for streams.

Avoid breaking conventions for the sake of it (is that icon on the top left a menu button? Then make the three lines even, otherwise looks like a list icon; people won't tap on icons they don't recognize 100%, seems like a dumb way to gamble users).

Stick with black text over white background for the whole stream, is very exhausting for the user to switch from dark to light every couple cells.

Introduce white text over hero images only for titles. This treatment is the worst of both worlds (the image is darkened and the text is harder to read) so use it only under very specific circumstances when you want to get extra attention to that bit of information. I would avoid it as much as you can; it's a nightmare to make it work.

You don't need that much space between cells. Easy fix to gain some information density back.

The pattern you're using for Feed/Trending caret is invisible to 99% of humans. Switch to tabs instead.

Not really getting the header section for Casey Nestat / TechCrunch. If there's no actions, why not a simple top nav with title? Seems kind of unnecessary and distracting from the thing I want to read (the information on the cell I just tapped). Think about the way twitter handles tapping on a tweet. They don't bring you to the user TL, but to a expanded view of that tweet. You can find a way to merge both worlds, but right now is not good.

On scroll inside source feed, that top bar is super crunched. Either make it larger (like instagram) or break it into two lines.

I would reconsider that branding color to something friendlier and easier to the eyes. From the mocks I'm seeing on your web, is both a contrast nightmare on both black and white text and is way too loud to pay attention to anything else.

Probably they are optimizing for the favicon, which is the only place that icon is going to be visible...

+10000. also using real data sounds like an amazing feature: https://medium.com/bridge-collection/modern-design-tools-using-real-data-62d499e97482

Hi Viral, some things I was noticing on your designs -Material Design don't recommend mixing icons and labels on tabs: https://www.google.com/design/spec/components/tabs.html#tabs-content

-I find the subscribers tab a little bit out of place in the navigation hierarchy. Is basically a list of followers that, in most cases, will have very little activity (unless you're already a youtube star). A whole tab section seems a little bit disproportionate to me and might even have some negative impact on the perception of the product (feeling it's a ghost town :( ).

-The text field doesn't seems like a super actionable item to start recording, and creates some unnecessary friction between the action the user wants to do (stream) and the action you're asking her to perform (come with a title first). I'm curious why you didn't use a FAB for recording, which seems like the most go-to action in this app. Also, the logo is placed in a weird position that seems actionable (and maybe it is, in which case I think it's better to use a more familiar iconography to avoid confusion). I don't think you need it.

-The private/public dropdown list seems more convenient as a toggle to me.

-I'm also curious of the functionality of typing comments while you're broadcasting. I think voice would be a much more convenient method of communicating with my audience than text.

-Don't see a clear option to stop broadcasting

Hope you don't mind :) Best.

Why not, out of all your saved copies, marking as "revision" only the ones that you want to show to your clients?

"Dribbble seemed to have more people offering feedback in the past, but it often seemed pedantic. Because the format lends itself to small snapshots the critiques would often be about sub-pixel nuances, not questions of objectives or user needs, or anything beyond the superficial."

    You're absolutely right
