I'm a member of the Toptal network. It's a good source of projects. I've worked mostly with startups but there are companies of all sizes. Project length also varies from a couple of weeks to 12 months or more. Projects can be full-time, part-time or hourly. The admission process is this one: https://www.toptal.com/top-3-percent. For a designer, it looks like this: - initial interview to review background and English language proficiency - portfolio review - demo project - demo project presentation and final verdict

If you have any questions, lmk. I'm also calin_balea on Skype.
I recently published a new article in which I point out a few tips on how to weather an economic storm. I believe there's one brewing up now and will affect the entire world, as it did in 2008.
I'll try to make it :)
Thanks Mark! I'm open to new projects but I'm based in Europe (UTC+2)
Hey. Yeah, I've had a chat with the founder via intercom. He later reached out to me to ask for an interview. Textografo is a really useful tool.
Did you build it yourself? I have a bunch of ideas for web apps but I'm not a dev. Any advice where I could find a good dev team to partner with?
That's a cool idea. I also created an animated gif for the logo that plays with the blur idea but i'm not sure i want to commit to this 'clarity' idea for my personal brand. There are some downsides to it. I'm experimenting with a different approach to the same idea.
Thanks! Much appreciated

It's a lengthy process but I looked at it as an investment. Once you're in, there's no expiration date on your membership. In my case, with all the waiting, it was about 2 or 3 weeks. Don't remember exactly but I didn't feel that it's too much work.
