+1 on the layout grid.
I would switch from Sketch to XD once two features get added:
I was pleasantly surprised when I used XD for the first time. Very close to replacing sketch for me. Keep up the good work!
Great first time use, found movies I want to see and good ones I've seen, along with their related collection (+1 for the Black Mirror collection).
When I add a movie as "Watched," rate, and submit it, I consistently get an error screen telling me I have no connection to the internet/server, although my connection to the internet is fine. Clicking the 'retry' button temporarily removes the pop up window for a few seconds, until it pops back in with the same message. So far, this is only happening when adding a movie a "Watched."
Other than that, it's been a quality experience :)
P.S. Thank you for letting people use it without signing up.
You're welcome! You should see how far you can take this idea if you're still interested in it; fleshing out the campaign. It'd make for a way more meaningful portfolio piece :)
Great presentation of the idea. But I think the song lyrics on some of the cups would be more impactful / readable if they were formatted around the way the lyrics are sung. Take the Ariana Grande cup lyrics as an example. It would be easier to read the lyrics if the line break was after "you" instead of "bout" - as that's how she sings it. And for the Yeezy cup, putting the three "Yeezy"s next to each other on the first line is more like how he sings it.
People would for sure take pics of these and share them, making it reasonable from a marketing stand-point. But if these are about cross-marketing, the song name should be shown as well; and a way to easily download the song should be thought through.
It's the beginning of a colorful and punchy marketing campaign that could be loved, but the design needs some more business details thought through as well. Business and design inspire each other :) Good job!
I agree that the copywriting is vague and not telling me exactly why I should get this over one router that covers my whole place well enough. Is wifi interference a real problem in households? For the minority that it is a problem, I think it can be solved easily these days with other cheap router extenders.
They say
Plume knows how to handle different types of traffic for a smooth, uninterrupted experience.
But many modems handle diff data types very well, it's not a unique feature, it's a fundamental part of what every modem does.
Facebook Live launched to the public in January of 2016 (3+ months ago). The interactive map just launched. Let's see what happens.
This is pretty sad by Facebook. They have over 1.6b people on facebook, and at most maybe ~100 live events happening at once... so so bad. It's embarrassing for them, such little traction.
Very well made. Reminds me of Squarespace's blog: http://blog.squarespace.com/blog/
It's almost perfect. The only thing that bugs me is the last 'slice.' The first two feel like they naturally turn the object as they slice it. But the last slice turns the object the opposite direction it would turn naturally. Instead of rotating right on the last slice, it should rotate left.
Just an observation, otherwise my favorite one so far.

Ah thank you, that grid is what I was looking for! I didn't find it when I first used XD.
