Pretty sure the point of designing and releasing an app is to service others' needs, not (just) your own. For example, I don't use Android devices but that doesn't mean I'm not going to design apps for them.

I think it's that wide tracking on the uppercase gotham headings, the words as a whole are losing some of their immediate coherence when your eyes have to jump such big gaps to find the next letter in each word.

Am I reading this correctly? The advice of this article for getting success on the app store is:

• pump out as many apps as you can and hope at least a few of them sell instead of trying to focus on one quality product

• make an app selling images that you do not own the rights to

I like the idea of it but it's lacking in attention to detail. The alignment of text (and every other element actually) on the “sort by house” screen is just woeful. Also not sure why they didn’t use the house sygils on that screen, those coloured banner icons with letters are adding nothing to the design or function.
