Hey George! Thanks for your advice!
I have one more follow-up question.
Why do you wish only doing icons and illustrations? Don't you think that doing all of this is not worth the value of doing a full UI and UX product design?
I feel in an app product, icons and illustrations are very easy to be replaced, because there are many free customizable illustrations and icon resources online to download, but to design a complete app user flow and user experience can't find free resources on the Internet and the responsible designer also cannot be replaced easily, so the designer's value and status in the company will be more important.
I always feel like I'm doing something unimportant that can be replaced at any time.

Thank you so much for your generous sharing. That's really helpful! I am now studying and living in Melbourne but I am from mainland China. I would love to be friends with you.
Hi Jeffrey,
Thanks for those comments. They are very useful. I also feel there are several drawbacks on the website layout but the thing is that the website is created by Adobe Portfolio, which does not support so many customized design on the layout, and it does not support to edit the mobile platform display. It just automatically converts the website to a fixed mobile version.
If anyone knows how to solve the problem, please leave a comment below.
Another thing is that I did more work on the Kite app marketing website design instead of the UI and UX design of the App. I did participate in the whole creative process and draw a set of illustration for the app but did not get the chance to design the UI pattern and decide the UX flow etc. I am wondering how can I show my experience and problem-solving skill about this project?

Hi Chad,
Thanks for your long writing. This is my first post and I am surprised hahaha. You guys are so kind! Feeling so warm from the community.
Hi Nicole, Your comment feels like spot on. I am working in an agency and mostly designing mobile apps for enterprises. I guess my job will be more interesting if I can work for a consumer app in someday:)
