The images are now always displayed at half size, so they come through sharp on HPD screens. One of those shots was uploaded at 1600x1200, the other at 800x600.
And agreed on the unpolished feel. It feels off. I think a part of it is the "edgeless" look of the modals isn't carried through anywhere else, in fact, the thumbnail view, modal view, and page view are all very inconsistent in style, the number of likes feels buried—plus more, not trying to bash too hard
I think the Pinterest option was already there, but it was under "Share" which had an option for Twitter too (that's gone now). To me, the bright red button is a little over-pronounced. It kinda dominates the card once you've scrolled it into view.
Agreed. That bugs me too! Maybe they'll see this and throw it up where the like button is
This wasn't a question of what it is known for, for the record. I never refuted that!
That's your opinion. That doesn't make it the rule. Dribbble "shots" are intended to be smaller snapshots of a project. That plays much better with WIP type shots then polished, finished pieces. While a lot of the work on Dribbble doesn't feel like "WIP" work, the majority of it is—that's just because it's full of talented designers. You'll see several iterations of the same thing (ie WIP). Plus, I'm fairly certain that was the intention of Dribbble, regardless of what you think.
That's a great idea—too late now though ☹️
Many people do, but they don't often end up on the Popular page. A lot of the WIP aren't super rough, but are the beginning stages of a project and some details aren't as thought through. I have in the past (granted I don't post very often), but this definitely makes me more hesitant to do so.
Really liking the ability for larger shots, but they should've accounted for all shots posted before the launch. For those older than that date/time, they could get scaled down at half size, like they've been up until this point. That way they don't get pixelated! Or, just scale everything at half size period.
Another downfall is the bigger shots are going to change what gets posted on Dribbble. Bigger shots = more detail = less WIP shots.
Why is the design so bad?

RE my comment, they've modified the Pinterest button now—it's not longer solid red!
