Thanks Jon and team for sharing this with the world. I think this could be a huge step forward for designers and engineers alike. Very exciting.
Thanks for the submission and congratulations on launching.
One question I have is how these components are defined. Do you have a plan to support custom components in the future? And would those be built in native code or as web components that could then be incorporated into this (presumbly) native app?
Yep, totally makes sense. Thanks for your thoughts.
Yeah, we had to start somewhere and the Apple Pencil in our minds makes such a difference with apps like this, so we started there. What would we have to support to make it useful for you? Android? Web?
Yes yes yes! InVision finally appears to have plugged the most major deficiency Sketch had compared to Illustrator CC for our UX design workflow. I'm testing out building a Shared library right now and while there are still some rough edges, it's all extremely promising. Hats off.
I just got back from Japan (many of the same locations and thousands of photos) and have been meaning to put up something like this for a while. Nice work! I especially love the inline videos that give the whole site an immersive sense of motion, as well as the hero videos at the top of some of the pages. This inspires me to put up my stuff online.
BTW, my Japan trip was my single favorite trip so far and I loved New Zealand as well. Did you go to Doubtful Sound or Milford Sound?
In general I agree with your concern, but I also see some recent signs that they understand this concern and are working to improve their track record of delivery. The recent iOS app and frequent Craft 1.0 updates give me some more hope. But we will have to wait and see.
This is a decision that baffled me when they first announced Project Comet. I work with a lot of designers who use Windows, and we can't use Sketch because they can't install it on their PCs. Adobe had a huge opportunity here to support both platforms right from the start. They need to support Windows as soon as possible.

A big Meh. I feel like the previous rebrand they did with Kalanick actually had some form of meaning to it, with the Uber Bit. This new rebrand doesn't seem to have any real character to it at all.
