:) I've been trying to exercise transparency and honesty. I believe people could help and support each other if we all just shared knowledge and experiences.

Are you a freelancer/unemployed designer too Mitch? How's your journey going? :)

ZURB wasn't a bad fit. It just wasn't right for me at the moment. But email me hello@ohjessica.com.

Would love to hear why you don't think you're a great fit at the time. Well hope your journey goes well too! Good things will come.

Initially, I thought it was a very similar concept and started to question the purpose of Tavern. However after diving deep into it, it is different. Tavern curates Product Design questions, where the community could have long discussion over it and designers could have their say in it.

Personally, I learn from them as it gives us interesting perspective and insights about Product Design around the world. And because it's usually the same people discussing on it, you really begin to know these individuals.

Both are a fantastic design community that brings passionate designers together.

Btw, I'm from ZURB; and I love Designer News religiously.

I agree. It looks and feels more like an agency. Perhaps, it's missing a bit more personality to it - whether through language or content. As a client or company, I would like to know a little more about you (who are you, what you value, what are your design principles, what are you passionate about, etc...).

Other than that, your actual work in your portfolio looks solid.
