From time to time we work with external designers and developers who have written thoughtful pieces. We like sharing a variety of voices and perspectives, instead of focusing solely on Figma news.

We enabled WebAssembly for the first time last year, but as that footnote mentioned, we invested a lot of time in recent months fixing bugs and working closely with the WebAssembly team. So the performance improvements from those WebAssembly optimizations are new.

We used designsystems.com to collect pitches from people who wanted to write for the site once it launched as an editorial blog (which it did today). We then used it as an event info page for the meetups we hosted in cities across the world.
