Thanks Matthew, great feedback. I definitely agree about the hover states, I'm still working through some of the finer details. Hover states will be my first move!
I use pocket for almost everything, the chrome extension makes it super easy to save a page. The search functionality isn't quite as powerful ad you'd hope though.
been working on redoing mine (or at least trying to) but I put up this temporary one in the mean time, pretty happy with it
Tried to make it as simple as possible. Just good ol' text and CSS
Yea what happened? Redesign just made it worse :(
You sure this isn't a rendering haha?
I don't consider it a resource for real design solutions, I just see it a fun place to post snippets of work and experiments. I work on pretty boring enterprise software sometimes so it's nice to mix it up and see playful and colorful things, but it's just that.
I don't use it very often but I'm trying to get myself to do a post at least one a week https://dribbble.com/henryfreel
I'm not sure I totally agree with that. I see the IxD as much more page level interactions, i.e. does that thing look clickable? how do create a new object? Much more Human Computer Interaction and animation focused.
When you say "One will focus on the behavioral aspects of the interface; the other will focus on the visual aspects of the interface" You'll have a pretty crappy experience if you only focus on the interface on a page (in both visuals and interactions) You've left out a huge part of an experience, which is how a user gets from one page to another. That is the UX in its most pure sense.

Thanks so much! It took me a lot longer than I expected but I'm really happy with how it came out
