Definitely better visibility on mobile. When you get into the larger sitemaps I think a "More" button on the right would be good too.
Paprika - We have grown a digital library of over 700 recipes from past family recipes and stuff we find online. Every weekend we plan out the next week's meal schedule, then get all the groceries. Sometimes she will ask me to get a few things at the store, the list is already on my phone, so she doesn't have to tell me what to get. Haven't found anything as comprehensive since.
My only dislike is that they don't polish UI as often as other apps, but I think it's just one guy, so I can't complain, it works.
I use a Logitech Pro Webcam C920 and Apple Earpods, I also opt to use the webcam's mic instead because the quality seems to be better for my team. For software we primarily use Google Hangouts for internal meetings, smaller group meetings sometimes are on appear.in and client calls are on GoToMeeting. Hangouts seems to be great for 8+ attendees, but we mostly turn off our cameras at that point because it's just too much to stream. The biggest factor might come down to how fast your internet connection is. It's obvious when we have someone working from home who barely stay active in the meeting because their connection just can't keep up. Similar to lag in online multiplayer games. My connection is 50 down, I wouldn't recommend anything less.
For echoing, always use headphones, that reduces it nearly 100% in most cases.
