Thank you Brandon and Adam! That helps a lot. Now I understand and have a context. What a great extra feature.
This looks really clean and neat. A barrier for entry for me is a basic functionality that I am not sure is within the scope of this tool - Can I separate out types of expenses? eg. I'd like to track how I am spending variable expenses vs fixed expenses, can Rollie do this?
This is beautiful - I singed up for the beta. Was curious if this project is built by InVision? - Many of the UI elements look feel and functionality are identical or very similar. (i.e. groups, etc) Or is it just a case of great minds thinking alike?

Like many articles that state what you “should” and “should not” do, I’m not sure if I agree with that level of “rule setting”. It’s an interesting thesis though. I totally disagree that people should expect the switch to immediately have a response, it’s a checkbox alternative unless this article changes the convention. Other than that point, I very much appreciate the insights - especially the clarity on the binary choice. We recently ran into that issue and came to the same conclusion there.
