No but you can print it to PDF using chrome.
When do you think web will die?
Not sure what kind of complications but I am running nodejs on DO VPS for last 6 months without any issues.
Have you seen facebook iOS app reviews lately? Read some reviews.
Android used to be slow, not just web, native too. But Google is working hard to make both native and browser better.
Majority of customers who uses iOS can't tell difference between native or webview. They can tell difference between good quality app vs bad quality app. There are tons of native iOS app that are crappy that doesn't mean native is bad.
Anyway, you should choose a platform that you are most comfortable with. I prefer HTML5, and I will not go native. This is my HTML5 app.

Its not super awesome, but it works reasonably well on iOS/Android and WP8. I am sure there is better native hacker news app, but I haven't found one. If I had gone with native, I wouldn't have an app for Android or web (http://hn.premii.com).
Author didn't mention performance issue with SVG. When you are rendering lots of icons, SVG will use more resource.
