Quite happy with the free https://www.statuscake.com/
I use this Chopstick boilerplate which uses gulp, browsersync, sass, postcss, flexbox and more :-) The Sass is structured with BEM/BEMIT which I find quite useful to reduce a lot of the common issues with CSS.
I'm pretty happy writing markdown notes with https://usecanvas.com/ which has online collaboration
I have to admit i'm using Google Photos for the UI + having my photos accessible on every device. Switched from Flickr to google photos. The search is incredible (like searching for "beer" gives you all your pictures with beers in it), but also a bit creepy.
I also backup my mac (including pictures) using backblaze.com, but lately I've been wanting to try out hubic.com to backup all my external drives that I rarely access and are gathering dust.
I deploy my php CMS websites with Capistrano to plain shared hosting with SSH access. Capistrano basically git clones the project to a new release folder and pulls the composer vendors and executes some other scripts like symlinking uploads folder. The advantage is that you can easily do a "cap rollback" to an earlier version.
They just released a small update. Maybe they noticed this thread ;-)
A month ago, I saw this link a few times on twitter and DN. Seems to be an online sketch viewer. Maybe they're focussing on this instead of their main Sketch app...

No threads was really the only reason for our company (200+ people) not to use Slack. We've been using Flowdock for the last couple of years, which has threads. We've been saying that as soon as Slack releases this feature we're gonna switch, and i'm so glad they finally did! Already transitioning...
