I still think it's a game changer when you need it. Doesn't seems to be your case. The most important aspect of real time collaboration is single source of truth, you don't need to merge files, deal with conflicts and so on.

For teams though... Sketch + Abstract was nice but it was killing the efficiency in my team. With Figma everything is super easy.

Just here wondering why I need to go to three different pages to see a comment response in a Medium post.

I agree that would be great if designers put energy into helping non-profit organizations. But I think we miss the point:

Unsolicited redesigns aren't trying to solve any problems, they're mostly about training UI skills. And as said before in the thread, it's vastly easier to work with no real world constraints when trying to practice/show your UI skills.

Those people doing this type of work, normally have zero contact with the company, clients or users. Even when they present some type of research behind the process, it is frequently a very shallow research or with the wrong audience.

I don't think this type of work is valuable to most companies. Maybe one with a very simple product that wouldn't require any contact between the designer, clients and users.

I have used it along with Flinto and Principle and the only benefits over those, was being (mostly) free and browser supported. Otherwise Flinto and Principle had more powerful tools, consistent results and easier workflow.

Midnight definitely looks better and is more customizable. If you consider the extra features (indentation, collapse all groups button, etc) midnight gets even better.

My case is even worst: working in a late 2011 iMac that didn't get Mojave. No native dark theme no midnight plugin.

Kinda late, right? With tools getting prototype support inside the app there is no much space for tools like Marvel.

Same here. I love how powerful their product is and the clean and strong branding/interface. But they workflow is to slow for my use. Their audience should be teams building bigger projects that needs high fidelity prototypes.

For us, Flinto, Principle and now InVIsion Studio, is more suitable.
