No, I live in the Philippines, just renting right now
the upvote button affordance is very bad, it can be bigger and with a background to look more like a button and more obvious that it's clickable or just make the tap target bigger, not just the arrow
This kinda makes sense especially for less picky designer regarding their portfolio site colour, typo and overall aesthetics, also embedding prototype is very easy, What are cons though?
What tools do you use to engage with them? Google Survey to ask questions and filter participants (e.g. are you interested for a phone or in-person chat?) Result will automatically be in a Google Sheet where you can filter it to your liking. Mailchimp to email them, Make sure to include the gift or stuff they will get for coming or joining you for a chat and how thankful you are for their time. :)
What do you use or set up to manage communication and scheduling? Calendly — no back and forth, give them the available time slot and let them schedule. Put the calendly link after the survey.
Any other tools you use to make your life easier for this process? Coda, Airtable, Notion to organize data. Coda and Airtable has free UX interview template.
Whimsical sticky notes to gather thoughts and takeaways after the interview. I would recommend Typeform if your team have budget. :)
Local communities tend to be more helpful and well managed.
Hi Norm, does it support multiple tabs now? I can't seem to make it work.
Edit: I realized that Figma mac app is kinda different from their web app, they have a dedicated menu icon where if you click a file it automatically opens in a new tab. So on Figmac, to open a new tab, you have to right-click then "open-new-tab."
Am I doing it wrong?
good article, a lot of great points, thanks for sharing! In my opinion, users don't really care much about the differences between checkboxes and switches but in most cases, a checkbox is a more intuitive and well-known pattern compared to switches. A few years from now I think switches will mature anyway.
Veeeery abstract, amazing.
I like it but please use a different font. A bit loud and too cartoonish, I mean you can still have the same vibe but doesn't have to look too loud and all caps all the time.

Auto layout is amazing but feels I need to do a few workarounds because of some limitations on stretching, Is there a feature related to auto layout on development?
