Thanks for the feedback on the zoom - I'll pass that on. You're correct, it was a big technical issue but it may be time to pick that back up. And also helpful feedback on pricing. Determining the right value is hard, so we're open to adjusting it in the future!
Interesting! Glad it makes sense for you. Yeah, sometimes people ask "why can't it just be a 2D canvas?" My response is exactly as you said...you need some constraints otherwise the board gets messy real fast.
Enjoy!
Thanks Sean! That's great to hear, hope they find it to be useful as well.
Thanks Darren! That's awesome to hear, I spent way too long on that hahaha. Had to cut out all of the JS on the page + any HTML below the fold, until after the animation runs otherwise it was too jittery.
Mmmm....yeah? But that's really not what this post is about. It's really more about working together more often, and setting up more cadences/reasons to work together.
Interesting! Would you mind emailing me? Would love to hear more about that... chris@purple.pm
Excited to share a big update to Purple.pm! If you're not familiar with us, we're a planning and documentation tool for design teams - all of your notes, lists, designs, and prototypes can all live in one place so it's easy to work together. Happy to answer any questions.
Ooooo that's really helpful, thanks Kyle!
I review a bunch of portfolios in my spare time, so I've seen ones that are great vs ones that are bad. Thought a lot of the advice in here was spot on. Figured I'd share this for those who are in the middle of that portfolio journey...
Speaking of which - one thing that I've been meaning to put together. Does anyone know of a library of "good" portfolios? I always want to share good ones with folks I'm helping out but of course, I haven't saved any of the great ones I've seen when I really should have.

That's some wonderful praise, especially as someone who's worked on productivity software - thanks! I worked on Office Online before this, so I've seen some of the complexity - but even then I underestimated the challenges. I'd especially appreciate your input as you give the product a spin!
