I don't see much value for me as an iPhone or iPad app, but I do love their web app.

I am also working to bring better design/ux to enterprise. It has been quite enjoyable and some of the most challenging and rewarding work I have done.

We own the products we are placing in enterprise environments, so it gives us lots of creative freedom.

Also if something like this interests you, we are looking to add a few more designers to the team.

We are looking for a few designer at Outpace (the website is horrible, but that is in the process of being fixed)

We are a mostly distributed team of 65 people and we have a few products that deal with big data from Fortune 500 size companies.

The company really values design and we have some really interesting problems we are trying to solve. You should be comfortable with prototyping and implementing your designs.

+1 for Sinatra if you want something a little less bloated, but its all about choosing the right tool for the job. Rails can get you a lot more functionality out of the box so if you are building something more complex, the simplicity of Sinatra's core means you might end up having to do more work on your own, which isn't necessarily a bad thing either.

I've been tweaking a grid system that I have been working on and experimenting with for a year or so and it changes every time I use it and gets a little better.

It started as an inline-block grid but I ran into some maintainability issues with largish CMS projects and I switched it to a grid based on floats. It uses border box sizing and percentages and it seems to be working fairly well on some recent projects.

Recently I've been experimenting with a grid API written in Sass, which generates your responsive grid based on the breakpoints you set and that has been pretty successful for being able to set up, extend and tweak the grid to get it just right.

Running it on a brand new MPB that is less than a week old.

I have the same issue with swapping between retina and external monitor. But for me the whole applications is unresponsive, a lot of mouse events don't register from the trackpad or my logitech mouse and text rendering issues galore.

I'll try installing it again in a few days to see if it was just a fluke or weird bug, but for the moment there was no way I could get work done with the CC versions.

This has been my experience with Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC on Mavericks, both are barely usable. I had to go back to CS6.
