  • Posted to What's your team's design stack?, May 29, 2018

We are an international team (15 in the US, 15 in India, 1 freelancer in Europe). We just transitioned the whole team to Abstract from InVision so now the stack would be:

    • Sketch
    • Abstract
    • Very limited usage of Adobe CC tools (Mostly Illustrator) for Illustrations and legacy purposes
    • JIRA for project management and tracking purposes

I would add a year filter. This way you could see how he evolved his shooting skills through the years.

This is a very useful feature that I wish existed already. Thank you! Can't wait to incorporate it in our flow.

Coding wise this is amazing. But I wouldn't use any of those in a real project for the simple fact that it would annoy my users after seeing the animation more than once.

We will replace our Layervault subscription with inVision monthly one for the moment. Even though inVision it's not perfect, it still has version control and automatic psd export to preview so the team can articulate around the designs. We took a monthly sub because we are waiting for other solutions to emerge, especially dropbox for business merged with pixelapse.

I uploaded a new Photo Story on my photography "blog" about a 3 day road trip to Colorado.

Post is hand coded in html/LESS/js and responsive. Photos are taken with a Leica M8 with a 35mm f/2.0 lens.

I started an ambitious writing project a while ago and made my research on all minimal writing softwares out there. Ulysses was my final choice and don't regret a moment picking it up. It's user friendly, powerful and I love using it on a daily base :)

    Good catch!

This makes much more sense. A temporal marketing promotion for their app. Otherwise it sounded completely crazy that any marketing people from such a huge food company would wipe out their entire site from the internet to bring them in an app.

  • Posted to Ask DN: Who's on a visa?, in reply to Gavin Jones , Oct 29, 2014

    Hey Galvin,

This is a tough one because you are not making any business here in the US. You have a UK company but just wants to live in the USA while working for a UK based company.

I don't see many options besides a tourist visa of 6 month unfortunately. You can also come on the 3 month tourist one (just ESTA) and come back a couple of months to the UK and come back. You'll be able to do it a few times before they'll require you to get either a tourist visa or a student visa.

Most of the other visas are given so you can come here and work (or create your own business).
