This is kind of what my Manager told me at first, it was 3 years ago.
And you would be surprised that it actually works ^
But it sure asks that the full company embraces this way of doing and remote to be part of the culture, even if the company is not Remote First, at least Remote Friendly and processes can make it works.
Hi everyone!
A year ago, I started my first project for HoloLens and worked on others for different companies since then. At first, I struggled to find a good workflow and sharing my ideas with developers and product managers. But iteration after iteration, I find one that seems to work quite
So I wanted to share it with other designers who would perhaps work with HoloLens. Here's the article I posted about my UX workflow for HoloLens & Mixed Reality. Maybe it will help some other designers to find a good starting point and sharing valuable asset with their team.
If there are other designers willing to talk about their workflow for HoloLens, I would be glad to!
Definitely not.
Not because the culture isn't that great, neither the salary &cie, put mostly because I could not follow a project after it was launch, like it has always been a one-shot project then you move on.
As a UX/Product Designer, I like to get datas and feedback from the stuff I made to know what was performing or not and improve it, or at least knowing it so I could make it different on a next project.
That being said, there is a lot more UX Agency now than 4 years ago when I worked whitin an agency, so maybe that would be different.
But now, after having the chance to work for Microsoft and Match/Meetic/Tinder, I don't think I would go back in an agency. :)
"Maybe we can design a solution together for that problem... Let me see what's in her... Mind ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"
I work for Match (aka Tinder, OKCupid, Meetic & cie), so what I tell people to explain my everyday job (Lead UX product designer) is :
It doesn't explain what my tasks are, but it helps people really understand the goal and the meaning of my job.
So maybe you could try this, not explain your everyday job & tasks, but what your work is about, its goal and its meaning.
It could be something like :
And if you want to add something, maybe you could try this :
Hope you liked it!

Have feedback?
That may be not the most constructive feedback you could give, but it still a feedback, thanks for trying (actually, I kind of agree with you, probably should have split it into 3 smaller articles). :)
