I think you're just reacting to a style of typography that is unconventional, and so you don't think it belongs here.

I would like sketch's prototyping features to be further along, but I don't think Invision's syncing problems are problems inherent to syncing, I suspect they are problems inherent to invision the company

Taking on Adobe they have the opportunity to challenge an incumbent ripe for disruption. But taking on Bohemian Coding (and Figma) is another thing.
They're lean, and at the top of their game.
