I really liked the tone of your copy and the simplicity of the design. Well done.
"Oscar Gómez hasn't uploaded any projects."
I didn't say it's only for people starting out. I was addressing this;
I have often used Bootstrap in the past but I am moving away from it completely.
I think this is a natural and common progression.
Bootstrap is not always the best tool for the job. The more experienced you are the better your ability to decide when something like Bootstrap is appropriate and when it isn't should be.
This doesn't always happen. I've worked alongside people who have been in development for years and still rely on Bootstrap for things that absolutely do not require it (jQuery is also bad for this) and therefore using it adds a lot of bloat and can actually be harder/more time consuming to maintain.
The more proficient and experienced you become as a developer the less need you should have for Bootstrap.
The about page is a masterpiece.
It's so adorable!
This looks really great, but I struggled to know what was clickable and had to take a "trial and error" approach to navigating around.
Places I clicked on that didn't do anything include the big green "WORK"and the Skills and Recognition lists at the bottom. I also didn't understand that there was a difference between clicking on the left and right images in the slider until I read it here. A simple way to solve that could be to change the cursor to a right arrow maybe.
Apart from that, well done!
When I feel like I need something outside of the design/developer-sphere I go to brainpickings.org.
It's good brain food.
That is a hack and can make your scrolling janky on mobile.
