If you haven't heard of Will, you can check out his Wiki for more info. A few of his characters include Iago from Aladdin, Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, and Laverne from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. He's the real deal in 2d animation and also very willing to talk and share stories.
This guy takes the toys you grew up with and reveals their inner anatomy. Equal parts creepy and fun: http://www.moistproduction.com/
If you're unfamiliar with Gary, his work is whimsical and bright, using a medium not often used in the toy customization world: wood. Check out his work at http://www.superham.com
Tom really plays up his early work with this show and focuses on creating a common aesthetic thread among 36 portraits of famous characters. Tom talks about where the show came from, how he approaches the work and shares some stories about some of the slightly unique pieces included. If you aren't familiar with his work you can check out his site at http://www.strongstuff.net and you can view the show at http://nineteeneightyeight.com/collections/tom-whalen-bustd-2
Tom is an amazing illustrator with a very distinct style. We discuss how formal education has influenced his work, how he developed his style, his partnerships with different galleries and the licenses he's worked with. He's super talented and down to earth. You can check out his work at http://www.strongstuff.net/
You can check out his stuff at http://www.gregorytitus.com/
This is one of my favorite interviews I've had a chance to do. Justin is a super down to earth guy and offers great advice to anyone looking to pursue illustration. His primary advice: draw stuff. Justin is also the creator of Very Near Mint and you can check out his work at http://justinpeterson.net/
Check out their work if you aren't familiar with them... or even if you are. It's crazy good: http://www.dkngstudios.com/work/featured-work/

In the creative circles I spend my time with, I've noticed the content is pretty fragmented. I've absolutely lost count of the amount of mailing lists I subscribe to and bookmarks I keep track of... although GDPR has been reminding me lately. So I've spent the last several months developing a platform to bring some of these content creators together on one platform. Definitely working on getting the mix of contributors and content correct... but it's far enough along at this point that I'd love any feedback you have. I want this to be valuable to the community. Thanks for taking a look!
