I think at least with DO a big reason I like it so much is how the information is structured. They make it really easy to understand.
Posted to Site Design: Fight the New Drug Redesign, in reply to Allan Grinshtein , Jan 14, 2014 My intent on posting this was to show what I've been working on for the last couple months; Not to push an agenda. As was pointed out, it would probably fit better under the "Show DN" category. Sorry.
That being said, I think it's important to be open to different Ideas; especially if they challenge our own beliefs. There's some interesting research being done as well as other non-religious movements taking shape (e.g. NoFap - http://en-us.reddit.com/r/NoFap, http://www.nofap.org/). I think it's worth looking into and experimenting with.
Anyway, I appreciate you putting in your thoughts out here.

It depends a lot on what you're going to use the site for and how comfortable you are with web technologies.
I started out with Dreamhost back in 2007 when I didn't know anything about the web and it was fine. As I've learned more I have moved toward services like Digital Ocean and AWS. I'd jump in and figure them out. They're not as scary as they seem.
