It just seems like a generalization. Ultimately, if you don't know how to choose a designer thats best fit for your project, you probably shouldn't be the one in charge of selecting a designer to work with. I feel like an article can't teach someone how to tell good design from bad design. Choosing a designer based on the things outlined in this article is superficial. You shouldn't be choosing a designer just based on aesthetics. You could pick the best designer in the world, but if he/she is a terror to be around, your project is going to turn into a mess.
