This is taking minimalism too far. I liked reading the title of the thumbnail. It's now slower because you have to hover over the thumbnail.
Not a fan. It looks more like a car toy logo. The previous one with black felt bold with a premium feel.
Figma is disruptive with price and features. Instead of buying Sketch+Invision+Zeplin+Version Control, it's all in one tool. It works on Windows, Chromebooks, and Mac. Real-time collaboration means faster and easier meetings with fewer headaches. Designs are updated in real-time without uploading and generating a new link. "Fire alarm" designs with a team happen so much faster because we can split the design and see what everybody is working on.
People must have forgotten that early Sketch adopters were loud and annoying too. If they kept to themselves, we'd all still be on Photoshop/Illustrator because everybody thought it was good enough at the time.
No, but it's easy to make it an image checkbox.
The reality is you need to adapt in a fast-moving tech world. People forgot early adopters of Sketch were loud when the majority of designers were still on Photoshop/AI. I'm loving this competition because it makes all of our products better.
Figma has auto layout. https://help.figma.com/article/54-constraints
This also happened when Sketch came out and everybody was still on PS/AI. There's a lot of hype and for good reason. Sketch has become complacent and is now behind.
Figma is the real Sketch killer. Plugins are coming soon and it's one less feature Sketch has over Figma.

Clutter wasn't an issue before. Removing the title makes it a slower UX. Some designs are easier to understand with the title next to it. This is just removing shit just to make it look pretty.
