Some people use Pinterest. I prefer having everything locally so I've been using Dropbox + Octobox since they launched the beta. That should let you have shared folders with people.

Unibox because it helps me to identify how many emails I have from a certain address. That way I can read all the previous message by someone when I get a new one or I can delete/archive/mark-as-read a bunch of emails from the same address.

I find CloudUp to be a better alternative to Droplr, CloudApp and other clones from those two. It allows you to share up to a 1000 (thousand) items for free, you can auto-upload screenshots and even share Spotify links that end up as embed players (https://cloudup.com/iJMDiYLnLGb). You can share the link while images are being uploaded too.

Recently they got acquired by the guys from Automattic and they've added shortcode integration on WordPress.com sites and Jetpack for WordPress.org.
