Posted to A Bone to Pick with Skeleton Screens, in reply to Suganth S , Oct 20, 2017 Good point. I think it's to ease the transition. I prefer the skeleton over the typical loader; it's at least a shadow of what's coming. The NYT app uses a hybrid animated skeleton loader, which I kind of like...but that one drives me nuts because it doesn't actually match the fully loaded layout.

The 13" Airs weighed 2.96lbs, and the new 13" Pro weighs 3.02lbs... it's essentially the same weight with retina and its guts are on steroids. What's the beef?
