I'll search out businesses run by single founders who are burnt out and buy them. They get an exit and I get a business that could be used to springboard onto bigger things.

People found the Toblerone bear, they should be able to find the rocket and the IO : )

The logo seems to be a miss with the minimalists but of the 60+ concepts that I came up with, this is the one that finally checked all the boxes.

This is still a concept so all concrete suggestions that can help improve it are welcome : )

The IO.JS community had a strong preference for hexagonal designs so I had to work within that constraint : )

Thank you! The flat version will look even better when animated and will do just that once I get some free time : )

The concept of a JavaScript developer platform is so far removed from Pokémon that anything that manages to bridge that gap becomes instantly memorable and hopefully lead to conversations like this one:

    "Hey, heard of IO.JS?"

"There are so many JS thingies out there, which one's IO.JS again?"

"The one with the logo that looks like a Poké Ball"

    "Ah, that one!"

While simply removing the sharp highlight that is triggering the association will sovle the problem (see the flat version), I'll count the unintentional pareidolia as a win and run with it : )

Thank you : ) I'm getting a good response to this concept from the IO.JS community so I might get a few more opportunities to contribute if I keep it up : )

Thank you! Open source has been running my business and given me so much peace of mind when it comes to the apps I use so I hope I can give something back to the community : )
