That would be awesome!
Can you post your design or test here? The picture is too small to see the difference and it would be super interesting to see for readers.
The all cap comic fonts makes reading really slow. I got impatient with the font really quickly and give up following along. There are a lot of other lowercase comic fonts that can do what you want with reading efficiency: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts?browse_mode=default&filters=cl:hm,cp:ul
Human thumb do not get updates like software, you can just overlay the same heat map on Iphone X mockup (be mindful of the size, better choose a picture with 2 phones in it, one iphone x one previous iphone)
hi DN community, I am the creator of Font Playground https://play.typedetail.com/, which is a playful side project to experiment with variable fonts. I have just updated the web app with a bunch of new features, you can create interesting compositions with variable fonts and save it to CodePen. You can reopen saved comp later as well. Try out the font Spooky, it is ... spooky :) It is part of 13 newly added fonts designed by the Black Foundry.
Whether that’s a video of you introducing yourself or making us a custom website — that’s all up to you.
quotes from you article, a video of introducing yourself is not spec work, it is like an alternative way of doing job interview. However, "making us a custom website", that is straight up spec work. The fact that "it is all up to you (the applicant)" sort of makes the hiring company innocent of soliciting unpaid spec work, but doesn't make the work not spec work.
It looks really really cool. But it does no job showcasing the typeface's features and looks, not does it showcase typeface's intended application other than "really cool code experiment" which works with about any typeface on the planet, it will look cool anyway, it doesn't have to be these Korean typeface.
Also animation is so slow on my browser, I think the circle is supposed to follow my cursor?
why does it live inside of a frame? it feels claustrophobic. otherwise it is very nice and unique
