It's actually THREE.js/3D, they are using a Mesh and applying the clothe as texture. Great feel!
Interesting when thinking about how this can be applied to app UX
I didn't even notice ... But yes it seems like it! Super cool
Don't get fooled by the outer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4unOC5ZDT98 It's pure productivity fire.
Sure, I agree 100%, I presume you are a Designer, Coder etc. and therefore know the difference, so why bring the talk down to a level on which we all know better? It would be more interesting to discuss details (the ones you can see;), like the menu transition or the how the shader was built for the mouse interaction etc. Take the few good things from it that can inspire. Plainly bashing things limits progression.
Again if the site was made with accessibility in mind and it was a site which thousands of users was dependant on, then performance and accessibility would be something to talk about, but in this context it's just plain uninspiring.
Why not?
That's a lot of hate! Luckily most of us are looking at a site like this for the design and effects :) I cross my fingers for your internet speed to reach optimum prime state, so you will blast by any preloaders you meet along the way.
