Interesting dive into the rebrand! The title overstates the facts a bit, though — revenue increase was from $20 to $280 MRR. I know "How a rebrand increase our MRR by $260" isn't quite as exciting, but I was pretty disappointed by that fact when I got there.

I like it! It certainly isn't the most innovative design, but I think it hits all the functional notes. Looks like it's much easier to RSVP, learn about an event, see who's attending, etc. etc. AND it's fast.

It's a huge bummer to read articles that enumerate problems, but provide no solutions.

Try out "gallery view" (next to the fullscreen button) — it's much better than the default "speaker view."

So so so cool. This is where the sketch plugin ecosystem really starts to shine.

When it comes to tools, choice is a luxury, not a curse. The belief that there is a best tool hurts us. Don't spend as much time evaluating new tools; invest in the tools you use.

I definitely think writing is an important skill for a designer to master.

But "Unicorn Skill?" Just typing that makes me a little sick to my stomach.

Learn how to write well, learn how to code, study design history and typography, and you will become a more well-rounded designer. No need for silver bullets.

Excited to try this out! However, I just updated Craft and it looks like Prototype is still "coming soon." Any ideas why that might be?
