    I think before attempting a redesign like this, it would be good to be clear about what problem you are trying to solve with it. Also consider what it might be like to work at NYT, publishing stories as quickly as possible, availability of images etc. Is this a print/magazine design or web, its hard to tell?

    Great article, all of this is so true (after having worked at Conde Nast). I wouldn't have signed up just from that landing page, I can't say the design was that intriguing, but have definitely signed up after reading the article.

    I like this idea. Another point is that Dribble is just flat images or small animations, its pretty hard to get a sense of interaction and how the design will be used. It would be good to be able to get feedback on prototypes too.

    Great article. Being on the conference circuit seems to be a full-time job for some renowned speakers. I'd also like to hear from the people who's job is creating, making and working on new things.
