Agreed. Unless you're starting a new team, XD will have to be 10x better to get teams to move tools again.
Thanks for the comments Marc!
Regarding the design > code. I don't think it's too much to ask for a tool to export artboards to xcode interface builder. Understandably there would be many engineers that cringe when they hear this, but it still would be insanely valuable to many app developers. Especially for getting ideas out in the wild quickly. Obviously a Dreamweaver for mobile wouldn't output the most beautiful/scalable code, but it would take us one step further towards bridging the gap. In my mind, design & frontend (meaning layout / interaction) development are nearly the same thing.
Thanks!
Yes when you're working with bitmap images you'll need to import the image at the larger size so that it does not get pixelated when exporting. Sketch has a setting for what size to flatten bitmaps on import.
Sorry Luke!
I can see how one might see it that way. If you're curious, here's a good post about the reasons we chose to rebrand: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-we-chose-rebrand-shyp-lauren-sherman
We've been dealing with the same issue for a while now. We were told by the team at sketch that the next release would include a fix for this but it's been two releases since then. Not sure what to expect of it.
Tracking is a little wonky. I see "faceb o o k"
In my opinion they shouldn't go to v4.0 until they fix the text editing. Still so buggy.

These numbers are based on files that have been uploaded to Avocode. This can't be an accurate representation of the global design community. Isn't it possible that their userbase is just biased towards Sketch?
