So great to hear that, exactly why I made it :)
Hey!
I made this last week as a way to teach myself React. I found hundreds of amazing courses, blogs, and tools but it was overwhelming to know where to start. Hope this guide makes it easier to get going.
Planning to update this as Framer X comes out with more specific guidance. If you have suggestions to improve the content DM me on Twitter or make a PR on Github.
You can come over whenever to get a lesson in React. DM me
I struggled with this question for a couple years. My teammates always pushed me to try Framer but it felt like overkill and InVision was good enough. I've since changed my mind and can't recommend Framer enough for high-fidelity prototyping.
DM me on Twitter if you have questions.
+1
I started using it yesterday and love it. As someone learning React, it helps me focus on the important parts of React.
For example, dependancies can be added through a nice search interface:
oh hi! Haven't made much progress on reactfordesigners.com since I'm focused on hosting an internal React workshop next week for Dropbox designers. Hope to publish something late next week. :)
Got my ticket! Can't waaaaait
Maker here :) Thanks for the kind words and support everyone!
I would love to continue sharing the internal kits we make at Dropbox out to the world so hearing success stories of how you end up using it will go a long way in making that possible.
If you have questions or ideas on how to improve the kit, reach out to me. You can find me on Twitter or email me at zachj (a) dropbox.com
Thanks for sharing this Hunter! Super useful for folks like us working on desktop.
One tiny request. Could the Finder icons be vector-based instead of just PNGs?

Ever since I learned about P3 colors from Panic's tweet I've been looking for excuses to bring these more vibrant colors into my work. Thanks for writing extensively about this topic.
Right now, it seems like the only way to use P3 color in Chrome is to export a PNG from a tool like Sketch or Photoshop (unfortunately, no Figma support yet). This background-image hack works, but do you have a sense for when we'll be able to use P3 colors without PNGs? Or maybe I'm missing something.
