Thanks for the feedback Colm! Belgium is great. Beer and waffles. What more could you want? :)

Thanks for the detailed feedback Brendan! Some really interesting thoughts here. The copy is something I've been refining, and will continue to trim down where I can. Reworking the intro to focus more on customer value is a great point.

It's true, most of the projects in my portfolio have been for clients familiar with design, but for my consultancy work I'm also targeting people who aren't so aware of the benefits, so I need to include some education here.

I toyed about with the structure of the page a lot, chopping and changing the sections. Indeed I tried leading with the portfolio at one stage, but I feel the order of 1. 'Here's what I'm offering', 2. 'Reasons why you should choose me', 3. 'Get in touch' worked so much better than the alternatives I tried out before. Plus, a big point is that most people will reach this page from my portfolio, so they'll have already seen my work. This page is serving a different purpose than my main portfolio, so that's why I structured it in this way and didn't lead with examples of my work.

I curated the list of featured projects down to the ones which I'm particularly proud of, but also I wanted to have enough on there to show the variety of work I've done. I don't want to limit it to 1-3 projects and then have potential clients not see something close to their product and think 'ah, I guess this guys doesn't do X so he isn't for me'. The number of projects on display here felt right to me.

Thanks again for the feedback! Really appreciated.

Thanks Aaron! There has always been a UX/design consultancy aspect to most of my projects anyway, and I particularly enjoy critiquing apps, giving recommendations and brainstorms. I'd like to do a lot more of that, so that's what this page is about.

I'd recommend listening to our podcast, Working Out. This particular journey is what we talk about every week. Hope it helps!

That's so true. Experience is important, but it's also hard to let go of past experiences (good or bad) in situations where you need a fresh take on something.
