And 99.9% of HTML/JS sites of today are brilliant.
After spending 2 hours sifting through free mockups that didn't fit this way or another I decided that my time is more valuable and spent $14 to buy the best iPhone X mockups (Clay + Metal, 7 angles, ultra high res) on the market. Users love it. Case closed.
I meant the designers on crypto/blockchain projects. There is no such thing as a "crypto designer" of course :D Well done!
I'm shocked that the main color is not purple/violet. For some reason crypto/blockchain designers love that color.

In the Books section "The Mom Test" book is missing. I'm yet to find a better book on User Research and on how to validate an app idea in general. Other that that, this looks great.

Great blog post. Haven't tried the app yet.
Giving a substantial feedback without risking to offend anyone requires a tremendous amount of effort nobody is willing to expend these days. I've seen people on Reddit and Discord doing it occasionally and on request. Dissecting someone's portfolio and writing a 3000-word essay + annotated screenshots with actionable advices about it requires at least 4 hours of work. Other than that? Read famous books, essays, follow famous designers and practice until your eyes bleed.
From what I see a lot of these advices revolve around having better content. So in 2019 the best thing a SaaS UX designer could do to improve themselves is to learn to write better or pair with someone who does.
I partly agree, UX is not a subset of UI. But your definition of the UX role would cause a lot of overlapping and friction between a UX Designer and a Product Manager. Observe this picture:

Product manager: - Makes sure the product goes in the right direction - Coordinates work of different departments - Maintains proper communication in the team - Deals with budget and stakeholders
UX Designer: - Designs UI - Applies art & science of UX design to the product - Studies users - Experiments and Optimizes product
With a company small enough one can be both.
