I'm on the cusp at this moment. This pandemic has kind of accelerated certain people's career arcs and the irony is, i'm at the top of my game in terms of the digital product design realm. I almost don't want to be a design director if it's not in the industry I want. In this economy, I realize beggars can't be choosers and it's a privilege to work where you want to work. Unfortunately that's been my path, just designing for industries I don't really care about. So i might leave it to do design journalism and filmmaking. My background in research and narrative design has made fitting in this adjacent discipline quite well. We'll see if I crash and burn though. Good luck to you.
