Really enjoyed this app in beta but seeing Marcel's twitter threads is deeply upsetting.

Not willing to support it anymore and I hope others will respect Marcel's situation aswell.

Wow, this looks awesome! Been browsing around a bit but haven't uploaded something myself yet, I'm wondering if you have @2x support? Most designs look like crap on my retina display currently.

These are absolutely gorgeous. Nothing beats the beauty of a well-crafted serif typeface. Thanks for sharing!

I believe it's all about experience, which in most cases I guess is related to age. As a youngster myself I find it amazing how much experience I'm always gaining even though I won't notice it at the time. A year ago I was probably pretty confident as a designer/developer. Looking back I'm a bit ashamed of my self-perception. You come along way getting down and dirty creating things. Most important lesson: stay humble and aim for self-improvement and superb creations!

Would love to. 90% of the time I browse DN from my iPhone and the current app I use has quite a bit of flaws.

  • Posted to Ask DN: Why are you a designer?, Jul 19, 2014

When I was young I got into programming of all sorts but what really cought my interest wasn't the "hardcore-programming, but HTML, CSS and javascript. Inevidably, I slid into the amazing world of web design which also introduced me to more general concepts. Such as UX and UI design. :)

Even though I enjoy serious programming a lot, design is something special. It makes me enjoy the beauty of a huge variety of things and gives a totally different perspective on products and their features. :)
