    wrong audience

Not everybody is in the position to afford a professional designer. This service is for them. Can professional designers design better logos? Sure. But that option is out of reach for a lot of people. That's why I've designed this app. Is my machine perfect? Nope, but it will surely improve as we go.

Why is this the wrong audience though?

You're posting this on a website called designernews. News, for Designers. Think about it.

I'm not saying there's no need for your service. I'm saying that marketing to the professional designers its meant to be an alternative to is not the right move. Market it to small businesses or private individuals who are not designers. It's like marketing McDonalds to chefs. Doesn't mean McD should not exist, but...

I do know chefs that appreciate the recipe of a McDonalds burger though :)

But I get your point, marketing to professional designers is indeed not my goal. I think it's still interesting to post here to let designers know this service exists. Maybe to say something about the design of the service, its UI, or about what this means for logo design. As a designer I really think it's interesting to think about what algorithmic design means for people and when that option is better than hiring a professional.

I personally value the work that goes into a thoughtful logo design, but the reality is that this process is out of reach for lot of people. For them this changes the way they can get a logo for a competitive price.
