Announcing Framer X + React course

Hey DN!

Excited to share with you what I've been cooking lately: Framer X + React (hope you like the video!)

It's not completely done yet, but hopefully soon! It's a course that covers both Framer X tips and tricks (such as these) and React/JS fundamentals.

This course only requires some familiarity with HTML/CSS (also an open mind and yearn to learn!). Programming experience is not required!

My point is that, before you can do something useful as a designer, you don't really need to understand a whole lot about React and even JS. You could learn coding concepts little by little WHILE doing useful design work, especially when building prototypes. Framer X seems to be a perfect vehicle for that -- and that's why I've been hyper excited since the launch of Framer X!

I've learned a lot by hosting workshops and building the previous React course. I'll put what I've learned into this course. Hope it will help you overcome the initial fear when getting started in coding. Coding is fun, powerful and not that hard at all!

      Hey thanks for the comment. Sorry for the confusion! They said they'll release Framer X in the fall. So I'll keep the launch of this course in sync with them. No point releasing the course before Framer X is actually available to everyone.

    What miss the more in Frame X + React tuts are SEO. What are the best practice to build SEO friendly progressive web app?

      Hey Alex. But SEO is related to SSR (Server side rendering) and doesn't seem to be that related to design.

        Content is design. Such a tut doesn't worth anything to me if I can't use my design into production imao.

          SSR is not even content IMHO. It's a just a way to present content (to search engines mostly).

          With that said, I think it's useful to understand what SSR is, what it does and how it is related to SEO at a high-level. But perhaps not the technical details of how to get it to work. Unless your goal is to build the whole solution yourself.

            Would like to have a great tut that cover unthat part. Is SSR as bad as cloaking? Is there better solution than SSR? I don't want to pay for a website SEO-friendly.
