Just stepped up my Sketch game...

That's awesome Roy, first time I see SketchKeys used that way :D
If anyone wants to step up their Sketch game half-way of how Roy did, feel free to use this promo code for 15% off: Q2Y9TTQC8WY5.
Good hustle, ordered.
Can I get one for Framer? ;)
I was thinking to build a version for Figma first :) Wondering if I can find an approximate data on how many users both have or at least a ratio between them :P
Damn, those are some next level stickers my man.
Nerds rolleyes
(OK, I'm a little jealous)
You can also create shortcuts for free by just going into System Prefs and adding in Sketch's missing key commands:
Zoom to actual size is command+0, no?
Have you noticed any increase in efficiency? To me, I can easily accomplish all of these actions using macros I've set with Keyboard Maestro, or just memorizing the built in shortcuts in Sketch. It just seems like a pain to jump back and forth between two different keyboards, in addition to the mouse.
Wire framing is very fast. I’m rubbish at remembering short cuts so on a smaller keyboard it should be easier.
Oh my, I have a dusty Razer Nostromo that I'm totally doing this with.
Me too! Haha. Love that thing.
Arrows on the rotary thingy? Can you link the product?
I'd be guessing it's a DELUX T11 Designer Keypad

Obviously the kickstarter was a success
The rotary i only use the middle button, but you can key it to change to loads of keys with the mac app on press/turn. Bit like in computer games
Can you use rotary for exaple for zooming in Sketch ?
I’ll give it a try in the morning and let you know :)
Can I ask.. Whats the point? It just looks like half a keyboard, hehe.
Hey Roy I also ordered one and set it up but for me it is not working with sketch 52. Do you have any tips? Is yours still working?
I just received the same keyboard as well. I am a bit hesitant on sticking hotkeys on it though as I have too many custom ones set up and they tend to change. How is your experience with the keyboard so far? I constantly have to go back and forth between this and my normal keyboard because you'll still need to type things in Sketch for in-app copy.
Put it above the normal keyboard seems to work well for quickly hitting buttons.
How much faster do you anticipate your production will be once you're familiarized vs. a regular keyboard?
Not a clue! But loads of wire framing today was really fast. But I can imagine detailed design with type might be slower but putting the keyboard above the normal keyboard/mouse seems to work well.
Hey Roy, how did you resolve the fact that there is no CMD-Key for Mac user? I also ordered the keyboard but I find it useless without the command key and not jumping between standard keyboard and the delux designer...
They keys are single press no need to press cmd or alt etc for the short cut. In the setup app you can define keyboard shortcuts for each key
I know, but I don't want to use it just for shortcuts. I actually set it up with my preferred shortcut combinations, tried to use it in my daily work and quickly realized that the CMD Key is essential for me. Unfortunately it's also not possible to remap the fn & alt keys. But thank you anyway.
This is CRAZY that you just posted this... I was just having a conversation with a number of developers who are mechanical keyboard fanatics yesterday on how I wanted to do 'exactly this'! What keyboard did you use as the base?
Edit* I see the link for the keyboard now.. perfect! Thank you
:) This one, it was on kickstarter but think its on Indigogo now: http://www.deluxworld.com/en/product/rgzn/sjszs/96.html
Looks cool, but do you actually look at the key labels? I think I would prefer no label stickers so that it doesn't feel tied to one program.
Eventually yes they will be removed when I'm used to it.
Cool, hopefully they can be easily removed. I remember a couple of years back when everyone was designing fantasy keyboards with OLED screens on each key.
Yeeeeaaaaah Roy!
Glad to see your still 'crushing it' or whatever people say nowadays :-)
I really should stop lurking behind the scenes hahahah
where did you get that secondary keyboard?
From the kickstarter above, but you can now buy it.
