Consider optimizing the images on your landing page -- 6.87s and almost 20mb transferred to load a couple images.
Thanks for your feedback, we will sort that now.
I don't mean this in a harsh way, but the level of design and coding on this page makes me not want to use your product.
Thanks for your honest feedback
Thanks for your feedback, we found it really difficult to design a streamlined on-boarding experience for our desktop app. We were much more successful with our web-app (https://www.pilcro.com/appweblaunch) but there's definitely plenty of work to be done on our desktop app download page. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them
Sure thing.
When I first land on your website, there are four things competing for my attention: Cookies box, some weird infinitely loading gif under the 'click to download' box in your hero section, a get started button and a 'new to pilcro' button. Basically I don't know where to look.
As someone else mentioned, your background image takes ages to load and for the first 5 seconds its blurry/pixelated
The actual photo is a bit to busy. It just looks like a messy desk to me and doesnt really show your product at all.
The Pilcro + Gsuite logo looks weird because the two logos have different visual styles so they dont really balance out eachother. Get rid of the Gsuite logo in the header
The next section makes no sense to me, it's just a link to producthunt, which i cant be bothered looking at. You should be explaining what your product does here, in as little words as possible.
The backpack illustration looks like clipart from word 95
that show me button is extremely weird. It's really wide and not tall enough.
The button's drop shadows are blending with the bottom of the button, because the button colour is too light. Either change the colour of the button so they wont blend, or remove the drop shadow (i'd remove the shadow)
Get one solid CTA colour, you've got the pink and cyan colours personally they look weak.
Why do you have a newsletter sign up for a plugin? Seems like I'll just get spam. I'd remove it.
Your footer is a weird shade of grey. Basically the colours on this website are all over the place. Use http://khroma.co/ and get a better colour palette.
Your footer is needlessly tall.
For some reason there is a weird grey growing ball behind your logo. wut. It seems like your design has just ripped the code straight out material design without giving any thought into integrating it into this website. Material design is meant to be a guideline, not a bible.
Generally the typography is all over the place, and Lato is overused, and not such a great font in the first place, especially at the size you're using it for the header.
That's all i can think of for now on the homepage. Email me at todd@toddcantley.com if you want some more help. Sorry about any spelling mistakes, ive just typed this out as ive thought of it.
Thanks Todd, we will take your points on board for future landing pages.
