How do you use social media professionally?

5 years ago from , Design / UI / Animation

I'm wondering how folks use LinkedIn, Twitter, Dribbble, DN, Medium, etc. in a professional context as it has been noted to me that this is an important consideration.

Effectively harnessing social media for professional purposes demands strategic finesse. First, identify your target audience and tailor content to their interests. Consistency is key; maintain a regular posting schedule. Engage with your audience through comments and messages, fostering meaningful connections. Lastly, consider seeking guidance from a marketing essay writing service to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices. Social media's potential for professional growth is boundless with the right approach.

I write up side projects and case studies on Medium, keep my Twitter pretty informal but try to mix in a healthy dose of design and other professional interests. I find dribbble to be an echo chamber of designers so I don't think it's that helpful in a networking sense but it's fun for inter-community networking. LinkedIn I just post links to my Medium writeups.

Just linkedin updates. The rest is too draining (time-wise and emotionally)
