Ask DN: What are your main problems with influencer marketing software right now?

5 years ago from , Designer at day, Developer at night.

Hey everyone,

I want to understand the current problems/needs of companies which are searching for the right influencer.

What kind of solution is missing? What are companies such as Phlanx doing wrong?

For instance: I don't understand why you have to sign up first, before using the product. In some cases they want your credit card credientals which seems silly to me.

I think the problem is the concept of Influencers themselves - nothing entities that have the promise of conversions but limited measurable effects on a brand. Especially when it ends up being in a platform like Instagram or Twitter that's just bots talking to bots.

True. Thats why we came up with a rating system (1-5 stars) like amazon. You can identify bots etc. pretty quickly if you look at the comments. If you are interested, I can send you some screenshots.

I'd be interested to see some UI screenshots, and I'm sure the DN community would too if you were up for some critique :) It's always cool to see what people are working on!
