Adobe XD June 2018 Update: Fixed Elements and Overlays

Hi Everyone,

As follow up to the XD May release, we are pleased to give you the latest update to XD with the highly anticipated prototyping features Fixed Elements and Overlays and other top requested features from the community:

Fixed Elements
Overlays
Crop and place image fills
Math calculations in property fields
Improved Photoshop and Sketch image fill support

  We would love to hear feedback from you on XD's ability to open Sketch files. Have you tried it?

    OK, just finished my first project. Started by opening a Sketch file. I use a plugin in Sketch that adds a map (either Google Maps or MapBox) as a background. This wasn't imported correctly but I managed to make a mask and achieved the same result.
    Here is a link for what I did. Still trying to understand some things, but so far, so good:

  You'll enjoy using one app for everything. It'll feel weird to use Sketch for UX, Invision for Prototype and Zeplin for dev handoff.

2 questions after using these new features.
1. Can you have both an opaque overlay dissolve in AND a slide up modal (ie: iPhone share modal) with this new overlay feature? I can't seem to figure out how to do that.
2. How do you have an overlay appear (slide up, down, etc) BELOW a fixed element (ie: fixed footer)?
