I was honestly surprised by how well Overflow works when I joined the closed beta a month or 2 ago. I don't need to make user flows that often, but when I do I'd usually find some free sketch flowchart kit or draw some arrows myself. I always ended up putting in way more time than I wanted to get a decent user flow. I've used Overflow like 4 or 5 times now and it's definitely way quicker. I'm curious to see what their pricing model is going to be like though. I really like the app but I don't see myself paying a lot/monthly for something I won't use a lot.

Definitely can see Invision making a purchase in the future...

Been using Overflow for a month or so, it's super helpful when sharing flows with clients.

I just hope they don't come up with a subscription-based model. I refuse to pay $X/month for something I will use occasionally. I'd rather pay once until the next major update.

I mean it's their choice. If they really think they're 10x better than every other option and worth having hooks into my bank account, then they'll pursue that model.

Hope they did their validation testing right then. ;)

For this tool, I'm willing to pay $10-20 a year. Not for a subscription plan.

This looks great—but does it also do web flows? Mobile is only one aspect of what I need out of flows.

It really amazes me how little value designers place in well crafted apps like this. All I read on DN is “$10 a month NOT ON MY WATCH”.

Sure you have to watch the add-ons and budgets for design related apps. But for a well made enterprise app? $5-10 is fine.

I hope they will not charge something for the future usage

I'm VERY impressed with the features already baked into this beta! A few of my favorite features are:

    1. You can duplicate an artboard inside of Overflow and both instances will update when you sync from Sketch
    2. It looks like it imports prototype links created in Sketch
    3. The Prezi-like link animations are perfect for walking a client through the UI flow

Is there a way to view prototypes from a mobile device? If Overflow could be used for user testing, I'd easily pay a subscription and happily drop InVision for this. I could also imagine a cheaper version (single payment?) that doesn't include cloud collaboration or user testing.

I got acces to Overflow about 2 months ago (thank you guys!!) and I was impressed straight away. I even did a client presentation using Overflow (I know it was a big risk using something still in beta.. :) ) but it did work very well without any issues. Curious to see their pricing model

Neat! Such a necessary product! Is there any comment feature planned and pricing model to come?
