Is it just me or do all new tech websites look like Stripe?

I agree but pretty entertained how this thread did not in-fact contain many examples. My contribution, enjoy:
It's funny because all of those examples are shittier. Why can't anyone do it better than stripe?
Maybe stripe took their style from a smaller, obscure website we don't know about
You might want to ask the person responsible for their design about that: https://dribbble.com/luddep
Well, trend does exist, so..
Lol, not just you. I’m even getting client requests to build features similar to Stripe! “do X like Stripe [link]”
I don't think any of the examples posted in the comments so far have been as egregious as ZenHub, which seems to have lifted Stripe's design language wholesale.
Yup, definitely get that feeling
examples?
Have a scan through here: https://www.pages.xyz/
There's other examples dotted around that use v similar colour pallets https://mentorola.com/
But similar colors in this case can't be your best example?
The angle of the header is the most distinguished part but I really don't think that every site looks like Stripe just because of it.
Wow, that's pretty blatant.
Look at this site in Norway: https://www.finanstopp.no/ Very trendy right now.
Trying to save money on photo licensing, I guess.
How about this one: https://loans.no/
Totally trendy right now.
If you are a designer you work without limitations and try to create something really unique without copying is a limitation. I think copying, combining, forming and creating are good and lead to better websites :)
This doesn't imply that you copy the website 1:1 :D
Astounded at the amount of salt this opinion has created. The evidence exists on this thread for those still needing validation.
Would be hilarious (in a bad way) if you could patent design.
trends.
I clicked many of homepages in https://www.producthunt.com/topics/tech and there is not a single one that looks like Stripe.
Because of the trends. I think you also forget to mention the Slack inspired websites also :D
And none of these whipped designers have any idea if this design works for Stripe's customers, let alone their own.
It's not you.
